"I’ve always been interested in fashion, but I’ve struggled to bring it to life in a way that worked for me. While I knew the aesthetic I was striving for, I wasn’t sure how to translate it to my body type and how to put the pieces I owned together into a cohesive look. Even with an overflowing closet, I gravitated towards the same “sweater and jeans’ combination and I always felt like I had nothing to wear. I needed help evaluating my wardrobe to create a few essential outfits for work and everyday wear.
During my closet audit, Bianca was able to give me practical guidance on how to create the look I was going for while also recognizing my insecurities in certain areas. I thought I knew the design principles for my body type, but sometimes you need a professional to look you in the eyes and tell you whether something works and when it doesn’t. Bianca was able to do that empathetically and tactfully. She also helped me narrow down my “non-negotiables” that I should look for when I buy new items to feel fantastic in what I’m wearing.
At the end of our sessions, Bianca provided me with a comprehensive lookbook filled with curated pieces that filled in the ‘holes’ in my wardrobe. She researched which brands offered items in my price range that fit my measurements exactly, so I didn't have to do a lot of trying on. She also accounted for my preference for natural fibers and quality construction, and she recommended new brands that I would not otherwise have known about.
